Senior Systems Engineer ($70-$75K)

The Role includes server, client, network, virtualisation, and storage technologies expertise to support our Cloud Hosting environment and providing managed services to our clients.

Access to our clients is provided via remote access, phone, and onsite depending on the support required and contractual arrangements.

The role includes responsibilities in other key infrastructure areas that would suit an experienced network administrator with Microsoft, VmWare or Cisco certifications. A Diploma or Degree in IT is desirable.

Essential requirements:

  • Current Driver’s License
  • Minimum of 5 years' related IT experience 
  • Microsoft Windows: Server 2012R2, 2008R2, 10, 8, 7, XP.
  • Microsoft Exchange Server experience.
  • Microsoft HyperV Environments
  • Microsoft Office 365, implementation and support
  • Local and Wide area routing and switching experience
  • Wireless LAN integration experience.
  • Storage systems: Storage Area Network, Network Attached Storage. Experience with HDS and IBM storage
  • Network infrastructure hardware: Cisco switches, Routers and Network printers/photocopiers.
  • MCSE Server infrastructure with focus on cloud infrastructure/server infrastructure
  • VMWare VCP in data centre virtualisation or cloud management and automation
