About the client

Approximately 900kms north of Perth, Western Australia, you'll find the coastal town of Carnarvon which lies at the mouth of the Gascoyne River on the Indian Ocean. Before European settlement, it was known as Kuwinywardu which means "neck of water". Carnarvon serves as a popular tourist location and is often used as a stopping point for travellers going up north from Perth, and for travellers going down south from Broome.

The Brief

Market Creations Agency were to design and print a holiday planner for Shire of Carnarvon, and their surrounding popular tourist areas. The holiday planner was to be used as a visual aid to promote the natural landscape, and as a place for local businesses to advertise their products and services.

A Taste of the Great Life

With everything covered from site seeing, camping, and places to eat, the Carnarvon Holiday Planner allowed people to ditch Google and learn to experience a taste of the great life - just like a local!

The Outcome

The 2016/2017 Carnarvon Holiday Panner was a 40pp self-cover brochure. Market Creations Agency also provided printing services and printed 60,000 copies with full-colour throughout on 90gsm gloss stock.

For this project, the total services provided included a style guide, layout, advertising sales and design, print, and overall project management.

The Shire of Carnarvon were thrilled with the finished product and we were glad to hear that it received high praise from tourists and the local community.
