Level 2 IT Support Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Level 2 Support Technician to join our Perth based team. The role is diverse, being a mix of support via our service desk – requiring you to respond to incoming support requests and attending client sites to support their technical requirements onsite. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service and have excellent interpersonal skills to work alongside our driven and passionate team.

Preferred Requirements

  • Obtained or studying for Microsoft Certification (MSCE preferred)

  • Quick Learner with highly logical troubleshooting skills

  • Customer Service – Ability to communicate with all levels of clients in person or over the phone

  • Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests

  • Provide technical support to our clients

  • Ability to communicate effectively to non-technically minded clients

  • Proactive problem solver with attention to detail

  • Work Collaboratively

  • Travel to regional areas when required

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure

  • A keenness in all thing’s ICT

  • Microsoft Windows: Server 2019, 2016, 2012 R2, 2008 R2.

  • Microsoft Windows: 10, 8 and 7

  • Microsoft Hyper V / VMWare experience (Certs preferable)

  • Microsoft Office 365, implementation and support

  • Sound networking experience (WAN / LAN / Wireless)

  • Good understanding of perimeter security / firewalls and best practices

  • Good level of Active Directory / Group Policy experience

  • VOIP experience

Essential Requirements 

  • Minimum MCSA qualification

  • A current driver’s license

  • At least 3 years’ experience in professional ICT environment

  • Enthusiasm
