About the client

The Shire of Ashburton serves communities across a vast region in the Pilbara, Western Australia. The region is known for mining, agriculture and fishing, and for its rugged, ancient landscape. The main centres of population are the administrative centre of Tom Price and the towns of Onslow, Pannawonica, and Paraburdoo.

The Brief

Market Creations Agency were to design an informative, colourful, and engaging tourist brochure that featured the amazing landscape and destinations of the Pilbara. The client wanted the guide to be filled with images to showcase places of interest and increase tourism to the area.

Experience Local

To help local businesses, advertisements were implemented throughout the brochure that related to the local areas and suggested tourist locations. This included caravan repair services, tours, events, campgrounds, and more.

The Outcome

The Karijini Visitor Guide was a 55pp self-cover brochure. Market Creations Agency also provided printing services and printed 50,000 copies with full-colour throughout on 150gsm, and then saddle-stitched to A4.

For this project, the total services provided included a style guide, layout, advertising design, print, and overall project management.

The Shire of Ashburton was extremely happy with the final outcome and has since worked with Market Creations Agency on numerous projects.
