About the client

Located almost 1400kms north of Perth, Onslow is a small, picturesque coastal town in WA’s Pilbara region. As the oldest town in the Ashburton shire, Onslow has a rich history of farming, gold mining, and pearl farming. It is renowned for great fishing, year-round sunshine, and the gateway to the Mackerel Islands.

The Brief

The Shire of Ashburton engaged Market Creations Agency to update the brand identity for Onslow Sun Chalets, located on Sunrise beach. The brief was to capture the elements that represent Onslow’s landscape and attractions.

Branded Signage

After adopting the new style guide and logo, the Shire asked our team to update the signage for throughout the accommodation and offices to ensure consistency and increase brand awareness.

The Outcome

The clean, bright logo captures the laidback feel of Onslow by depicting a person fishing in the sunshine. The colour palette of golden yellows and deep and turquoise blue reflect the striking hues of Sunrise beach. Rolling out the new brand identity across the accommodation signage offers a fresh, sophisticated update from the unbranded and old signage it had previously. The combination of the new brand identity and associated signage will entice visitors and gives the Onslow Sun Chalets a sense of pride and professionalism.
