About the client

Welcome to Wylie – a ‘beaut place with the strange name’, located approximately 194km north-east of Perth. With a close-knit community of an estimated population of 498, the Shire of Wyalkatchem’s vision is to be a socially interactive and inclusive community that embraces their rural character and sense of community.

Vibrant Visual Identity  

The Shire of Wyalkatchem was due for a brand refresh and required a new identity that resonates with the community and vision. With agriculture accounting for 60% of businesses in Wyalkatchem, the Shire wanted to reflect that in their logo and created a new brand that complements their identity and personality. We rolled out the new brand through multiple visual identity pieces including a corporate style guide, signage, email signature, letterhead, and business card.

Elevated Website Design 

Breathing new life to the digital space, Market Creations redesigned the Shire’s website to help connect with the community and allow users to access information with ease. The website was thoughtfully constructed to display news and information through clear and accessible homepage feeds. A customised social media feed was implemented to boost engagement and encourage community members to interact with the Shire online. The sitemap was reviewed and strategically reworked to provide improved site navigation and user experience.

The Outcome
