Our design team brought the Shire’s identity to life with a bright and colourful palette inspired by its tagline: Life as rich as the landscape. Using warm oranges and bold blues, the refreshed look is energetic, welcoming, and unmistakably Kellerberrin. 

Design elements from the Shire’s logo, such as the rainbow and sheaf of wheat, have been thoughtfully integrated throughout the design. These visual cues form a cohesive theme that strengthens local identity and delivers a visually engaging experience across all pages.

Search and Navigation

Built with user experience at the forefront, the new site prioritises intuitive navigation and ease of access. A prominent search bar in the opening fold helps users quickly find what they need, while clearly defined quick links highlight popular services. A well-structured mega menu ties it all together, grouping content logically so users can navigate the site with ease and confidence.

Functionality

Dynamic content feeds allow users to toggle seamlessly between news, events, and social media updates, all within a compact display that enhances the homepage without overwhelming it. For a regional farming community like Kellerberrin, timely access to council meeting agendas, fire and weather alerts, and other essential services is critical. The homepage now features these high-traffic resources prominently, allowing locals to stay informed with just a glance.
