Since late 2025, Market Creations Agency has been supporting the City of Karratha with a broad range of marketing, communications and design initiatives. Backed by our Karratha-based Senior Marketing Consultant, we have been able to provide responsive, on-the-ground support while working closely with the City's team to deliver strategic advice, creative design and communications that support key projects and community engagement across the region.

Design Support – Yaburara Heritage Trail

The first project Market Creations Agency supported was the Yaburara Heritage Trail. Our design team developed clear, practical trail signage to be installed at the base of the trails, providing hikers with essential information such as trail conditions, difficulty ratings, and key safety considerations. Once approved, these designs were adapted into a suite of supporting promotional materials, including flyers and posters. These assets allow the City to promote the trail more broadly while reinforcing safe and informed use by community members and visitors considering the trail.

Local Account Management

Account management has been a key strength of the partnership, supported by the relocation of one of our Senior Marketing Consultants to Karratha in June 2025. This on-the-ground presence enables regular face-to-face catch-ups and more proactive support. From Karratha, Jesse supports clients across the Pilbara and Kimberley, including Port Hedland, Broome, Newman, Onslow and surrounding regions. This local context ensures every brief is informed by a strong understanding of regional priorities, audiences, and operating environments.

The Outcome

Together, Market Creations Agency and the City of Karratha have delivered strong creative outcomes during a period of high workload and limited internal capacity. Our team has championed both design and project management, streamlining delivery and reducing the burden on the City’s marketing team. By managing the process end-to-end and limiting internal touchpoints primarily to approvals, we’ve helped free up valuable time for the City to focus on other priority projects. We’re looking forward to continuing the partnership in 2026 and building on the momentum already achieved.
